A caption is a short text above or below an image in a book, magazine, or newspaper that describes the image or explains what the person in it did or said.

STRUCTURE 

• Opening

Opening (pembuka) biasanya pada sebuah gambar ditulis dengan ukuran lebih besar untuk menarik perhatian pembaca.

• Content

Content (isi) berisi informasi yang ringkas untuk menjelaskan gambar.

• Closing

Bagian closing (penutup) biasanya berupa informasi tambahan yang belum tersampaikan di content.

LANGUAGE ELEMENTS 

1. caption text must be short, because this text serves as a description of what is happening in the photo.

2. Use sentences that are easy to understand.
